OmniII
SDK
Do
you need to create applications witin a standard Microsoft framework? The
Omni1400 SDK provides a full-featured development environment for creating and
porting Windows CE applications, DLL’s, and device drivers to the Elf and
Fingertip platforms. To install the SDK, run the executable and it will create a
new platform under Embedded Visual C++ 3.x called “Omni1400.” This can be
used in the same manner as the standard Pocket PC and H/PC platforms. Once
installed, the SDK provides support for all Windows CE API functions, full
compatibility with Embedded Visual C++ 3.x remote debugging facilities via
Microsoft ActiveSync, and support for Microsoft Foundation Class applications.
In addition, the SDK exposes much of the low-level functioning of the hardware
to the developer through the use of Microsoft standardized stream interface
device drivers.
